Strategic alliance with Celsense for 19F MR imaging

m2m a leading developer of next-generation high-definition preclinical and clinical Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) coils and solutions announced it has entered in to a strategic alliance with Celsense, Inc. (Pittsburgh, PA). 

Celsense is a leading developer of next generation cellular imaging technology that enables the real-time detection of inflammation and transplanted cells for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes using MRI or high resolution NMR.  m2m's high performance conventional and cryogenic MRI coils enable acquisition of dramatically improved image quality of fluorocarbon (19F) nanoparticles allowing customers to achieve better results when used in conjunction with cellular solutions from Celsense.

Celsense provide cellular imaging solutions supporting development, preclinical studies, and clinical trials - all of which require MR imaging coils. The products can be used to monitor regenerative cell therapies that repair damaged and diseased organs, immunologic therapies to treat cancer, and as an in vivo diagnostic to track cancer metastases and immune system response. Celsense products currently include Cell Sense, an MRI cell tracer reagent, V-Sense, an MRI contrast agent, and Gene Sense, a proprietary DNA-encoded marker that genetically "programs" cells to express their own contrast agent.

m2m's existing customers will have access to the Celsense products through m2m.
