The Job:
Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a quickly evolving technology, which will provide the candidate with exciting challenges throughout all aspects of the design process. We can offer unique opportunities to join our growing operation and are currently looking for an experienced applications scientist. 

A full-time MR physicist position to develop preclinical and clinical MR applications with a strong focus on cryogenic and phased array coil applications. Senior level knowledge of MR-physics and pulse sequence programming, well-developed computational skills, creative problem solving and excellent communication skills are required to work in this highly interdisciplinary environment.

Your ideal profile:
• Development of MR pulse sequences and reconstruction algorithms
• Development and implementation of novel applications and prototypes as well as generation of advanced computational software
• Support of collaborative projects
• Interaction and communication with scientific and industrial partners
• Planning, scheduling and execution of assignments within project timelines

Qualifications
• Ph.D. or equivalent, preferably in MR physics, Biomedical imaging/engineering or related field
• At least 4 years experience in MR physics, pulse sequence programming
• Advanced programming abilities with C and C++
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong publication record
• Experience in signal/image processing, industrial product implementation and with the Siemens platform is a plus
• Fluent English.

This is a full time position and a competitive salary package and relocation allowance will be available for the right candidate.
